The shop your lot already knows.
The shop or trade your lot already knows. A trading name, policies, and a team if you need one.
What it is
Business stall, in a sentence or three
One business stall per account, for a shop or trade your neighbours already know. Buyers are told it is a business. You can add policies, opening hours, and staff.
Business stall
The shop or trade your lot already knows. A trading name, policies, and a team if you need one.
How it works
Three steps. No MBA required.
- 1
Open it in the trading name
The stall name, the legal name, the address, and VAT details if you are registered. The public page shows a business, so buyers know who they are dealing with.
- 2
Add the people who actually run the counter
Invite a manager or staff member. They can help with orders without using your login. Roles are owner, manager, and staff.
- 3
Join the spinneys that already recommend you
The stall still asks to join. A community approves a business the same way it approves a neighbour: because the lot knows them.
Example listings
What it looks like on a stall
Three made-up listings on The Corner Batch, a bakery stall. Staff can move the orders along. Nell's personal stall is a different stall on a different account.
- Subscribe
Saturday loaf round
The Corner Batch · Business stall
£18 a month
One loaf every Saturday, red gate
The regulars are the point
Flora lists a monthly subscription on the bakery stall: one loaf, every Saturday.
A household subscribes
The payment repeats. Flora's Saturday staff can see the round without her password.
Pause is on the subscription
Half term, the household pauses. The stall and the other listings stay up.
- Sell
Celebration cake
The Corner Batch · Business stall
£28
Collection Friday, name on the board
A one-off beside the round
The cake is a sale listing on the same business stall. The description says collection only.
They pay the stall
Payment clears to the bakery. The order shows as paid for whoever is on the counter that day.
Marked ready under the trading name
Staff mark it ready for collection. The buyer sees The Corner Batch, not a personal name.
- Advert
Saturday hours this month
The Corner Batch · Business stall
Notice
8 until 1, then the oven is off
A notice, not an order
Flora pins the Saturday hours as an advert on the stall, with an end date.
It shows while it is live
Neighbours in the spinney see the notice next to the loaf round. Nothing is added to a basket.
It expires on its own
When the month ends, the advert expires. The subscription listing carries on.
