Weekly bread, monthly flowers — regular deliveries from locals

How it works

Three steps. No MBA required.

  1. 1

    Describe what arrives, and when

What is in the delivery, how often, and the price. A trial period is optional.

  2. 2

    Someone subscribes

They start a recurring payment. The subscription shows as active.

  3. 3

    Pause or cancel

They can pause and resume, or cancel. If a payment fails, the subscription shows as past due.

Example listings

What it looks like on a stall

Three made-up rounds. This is a delivery, not a fee to belong. Belonging is Membership.

    Weekly sourdough loaf

    Megan Hughes · Heaton, Newcastle

    £18 a month

One loaf every Saturday, red gate

    1. The round is the listing

Megan lists one loaf every Saturday, collected from the red gate, at £18 a month.

    2. A household subscribes

The payment repeats. The subscription stays active without a new order each week.

    3. Half term pause

They pause for two weeks away, then resume. The loaves stop and start with the subscription.

    Monthly shito jar

    Kofi Mensah · Chapeltown, Leeds

    £12 a month

    One jar, first Sunday

    1. What is in the jar

The listing says one jar of shito, and the Sunday it is ready to collect.

    2. Three households join

Each subscription is its own. Kofi knows how many jars to make.

    3. One household cancels

They cancel after spring. The other two stay active.

    Seasonal veg box, weekly

    Tom Harrington · North Norfolk

    £14 a week

A box at the farm gate

    1. A small regular box

Tom lists a weekly box of whatever the field is giving, left at the farm gate with a name on it.

    2. Households subscribe

The payment is weekly. Skipping a week is a pause, not a new listing.

    3. A failed payment

If a card fails, that subscription shows as past due until it is sorted.

FAQs

Questions your lot will ask

Is this the same as Membership?

No. Subscribe is for something that arrives on a schedule. A fee to belong, like club subs, is Membership.

Can subscribers pause?

Yes. They can pause and resume, or cancel.

Do I make a new listing each week?

No. Each cycle is the same arrangement on the same listing.

What happens if a payment fails?

The subscription shows as past due until it is sorted.
