Pass it on to someone who needs it.

Pass it on — outgrown wellies, spare seedlings, pay it forward

What it is

Donate, in a sentence or three

No price and no payment. Someone requests the item, you accept or decline, then you agree when they collect.

Donate

Pass it on — outgrown wellies, spare seedlings, pay it forward

How it works

Three steps. No MBA required.

  1. 1

    List it as free

Photos, condition, and who can claim it. Say where it can be collected.

  2. 2

    A request comes in

You accept the person you want to have it, or decline. Accepting does not take any money.

  3. 3

    Mark it collected

Once it has gone, you mark it donated and the listing closes.

FAQs

Questions your lot will ask

Does it cost anything to give something away?

No. There is no price and no payment on a donate listing.

Do I have to give it to the first person who asks?

No. You choose which request to accept, and you can decline the others.

How does collection work?

You agree a collection time with the person you accept. The request stays open until they have it.

Can a group run a donation drive?

Yes. A community group can list donations from its own stall, like a coat drive or a swap rail.

Too good to bin?

Open a stall and pass it to someone in your lot.
